The Bankview Community Garden is in Upper Buckmaster Park near 23rd Avenue and 16th Street SW. It was created in 2011 to be a peaceful and productive space where neighbours can meet, relax and grow food for themselves. The garden is divided into separated beds which are available for individuals and families from Bankview to rent. Gardeners are responsible for planting, weeding, managing and harvesting their own bed over the growing season. In fact, everything you see in the garden area has been hand-made or planted by volunteers who donate their time, skills and resources to make our community a better place!
