I am a lawyer with over 26 years of experience conducting trials, appeals, administrative law hearings, professional oversight investigations, and for 5 years acted as an OIC appointed part-time Vice-Chair of the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.  I have extensive experience in managment of cases involving high levels of conflict, sensitive subject matter, and in ensuring that clients or parties always feel that they have actively engaged in the process and been properly heard and considered.  I help people to rationally and logically understand their issues, understand the governing principles, and tell them what they need to hear, empathetically, even when it is not what they want to hear.  I have extensive experience in damage control, risk assessment and mitigation, and thoughtful resolution of matters for clients, and in empathetic adjudication for parties.
