The Truro Homeless Outreach Society is an incorporated non-profit charity operating within the Town of Truro Nova Scotia. The Truro Homeless Outreach Society (THOS) grew out of the Out of the Cold program in Truro. Beginning in 2010 Out of the Cold operated out of local churches for 4 winters. The program was entirely volunteer-driven and ran from November 1 to March 31 each year.
