I am an experienced producer and archival producer with credits on shows for PBS, Discovery, Smithsonian, Showtime, Hulu, Curiosity and a number of independent docs. 

I am working on my first documentary, about the history and influence of LOOK magazine, which was the subject of my most recent book. I am a former New York Times reporter who has also worked in the federal government, international organizations, think tanks, and nonprofits. I have done extensive freelance writing and published six books. I currently teach in the Honors College at George Mason University.
