I am a freelance writer who worked in the film industry in the past. After a career in gender-based violence prevention and intervention in higher education, I have resumed working as a freelance writer (and consultant on Title IX issues). I am currently writing a feature screenplay that fills some of the many gaps in telling the story of sexual assault, and writing on a guidebook for parents of prospective and current college students on Title IX. I also am associate producer and co-host of the podcast Dear Katie: Survivor Stories, which can be found on most podcast platforms. My expertise and interests range far beyond gender-based violence issues, however, and I look forward to tackling those projects as well.
