About Me


NatashaUdell is a graduate from the University of Windsor and was called to the bar in 2007 after having articled at a full-service litigation firm in Windsor,Ontario. Thereafter, Natasha worked as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Ottawa where she was a member of the Domestic Violence team and the Drug Treatment Court Program.

 

Natasha began working as in-house counsel for the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO) in January 2010. The Association is the sole bargaining agent of approximately1310 full-time professors, language teachers, counsellors, librarians and research fellows at the University of Ottawa. In addition to providing general legal support to the President of APUO, elected officers, directors and members via the Collective Agreement, Natasha is also responsiblefor collective bargaining and dealing with matters touching the Ontario Labour Relations Act, the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Ontario Human Rights Code, and the Ontario Freedom of Information Privacy and Protection Act. Natasha has also had the opportunity to file cases at the Divisional Court, Ontario Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.


Natasha has achieved her Executive Certificate in Conflict Management, University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, offered by the Stitt Feld Handy Group and has also completed ADR training with Community Mediation Ottawa, c/o St. Paul University.
