In the 1930's Carmelo and Filomena Ippolito launched a wholesale business for fresh fruit and produce sold under the corporate brand "Queen Victoria". Their son Joseph eventually took over and improved the business processes, expanding the initial footprint to become a leading Canadian fruit and produce purveyor based in Hamilton, Ontario.
