In the 1930's Carmelo and Filomena Ippolito launched a wholesale business for fresh fruit and produce sold under the corporate brand "Queen Victoria". Their son Joseph eventually took over and improved the business processes, expanding the initial footprint to become a leading Canadian fruit and produce purveyor based in Hamilton, Ontario. Joseph's sons, Joel and David, continued to strengthen the Canadian business with automated production and increased product offering.
The brothers continued the expansion horizontally with US and Mexico investments; and vertically with transportation, property and other related investments. The Group now stands as a multi-jurisdiction leader in fruit and produce marketing with products in many North American retailers, with trucks travelling throughout the continental USA and Canada, with growing operations as far away as Mexico and offices in Salinas, California and Burlington, Ontario.
