I am a Director and Producer spittling my time between Christchurch, NZ and Waitsfield, VT.  I started my film career in the outdoor indtsury, working as both an athlete and content creator.  I most recently worked as the Production Manager for the beloved NZ outdoor brand Macpac.  I worked on a large range of content production while in this role- spanning from international TVC ideatio nand execution to product information videos to short documentary films.

I am a video editor, videographer, photographer, multimedia artist, and educator doing freelance work for various clients. My personal work currently revolves around developing videos for kids and producing comedic videos for adults.  

Hi! I'm Elyse Cosgrove, owner and lead photographer/cinematographer of Torch Pictures. Storytelling and creativity drive the narrative of what we produce. We create photo campaigns and short-form videos to help promote brands and educate others. I'm also the director of photography and co-producer for an international documentary titled "Birthgap," featured in Chelsea Film Festival. The final film will be released in 2023!  We have a 12,000 square foot studio space located in Del Ray, Alexandria that we love renting out to other local creatives and educators.
