Dr Jean-Pierre Grégoire’s work has changed competencies and roles of pharmacists as health professionals. He pioneered the teaching of pharmacoepidemiology in a faculty of pharmacy. Dr Bérard has training from McGill University, and Harvard Medical School. She is full professor of perinatal epidemiology at the University of Montreal, Faculty of Pharmacy, and CHU Ste-Justine; and adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Université Claude Bernard, Lyon, France.
