About Me

Dear Committee.
I have a Bachelors degree in Child and Human development and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology.  I Completed 80 hours of training with the University of Toronto Continuing Education Department in 'Alternative Dispute Resolution' in 1998.  My instructors included Haward Irving and Barbara Landau.  I have been mediating cases since then. I ws  completed my training in Collaborative Family Law.  My business was a collaboration with a Family Lawyer, Marion Korn (who trained professionals in Collaborative law), and Eva Sach's Finacial Planner, our company was called Mutual Solutions.  I have also completed the 3 day training as Family Group Decision Making Coordinator (FGDM/FGC), I have been accepted and are now completing the extensive mentorship for this designation in ADR.
I have been a member of Ontario Association of Family Mediators since 2009, and in 2017, I applied and received the designation of being Accredited as a Family mediator.  I continue with my private practice and teach courses for Herzing College since 2017, I estimate that I have taught over 30 to 50 courses is this time frame.  I receive excellent feedback from my student colleagues and they seek to work with my beyond the courses.
In the past I have created training courses and college courses for Durham College.  I am seeking to become a member and to obtain the designation of Charter Mediator.  I hope my exprience and ongoing extensive training in ADR and Family Mediation will be proof of my passion for the work and desire to continue to learn and grow in this wonderful and necessary occupation.
