About Me


Ms. Afreen completed Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in 2016 from University of Ontario Institute of Technology now known as Ontario Tech University. Her background in Legal Studies and Criminology equipped her to further study in the field of law. She graduated from Seneca College in 2017 by completing the Accelerated Paralegal program and became a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 2017 as a Paralegal. She has since been in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.


Ms. Afreen's first taste in the field was at Vayalilkollattu Law as a placement student where she was the brains for legal research for immigration and refugee law, family law, and tribunal cases. Her experience at Kutty & Associates equipped her to handle real estate transactions, real estate litigation, and small claims court cases. She was then employed as a senior law clerk at Vanular Lawyers Professional Corporation where she handled the majority of the transactions including separation, survivorship, and estate transactions.

Ms. Afreen believes in treating all clients with respect, compassion, and understanding. She knows that every client is unique and has different needs, and works diligently to tailor each client's approach accordingly. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and can communicate well with the South Asian community.
