About Me

Kathleen Hilchey specializes in resolving bullying and harassment situations.

As a conflict coach and mediator, her typical clients are students, teachers, administrators, camping staff, mental health professionals, and youth-based organizations.

Additionally, she delivers conflict management training to people who work with youth.

Kathleen uses a wide range of methods - mediation, Restorative Justice, and also her own process (Cooperative Conflict Coaching) to resolve situations that seem unresolvable.  Kathleen's methods are always rooted in honouring all parties’ voices, and she believes that by teaching tools, people will not only navigate current conflicts, but future ones as well.

Kathleen has a B.Ed from Queen's, an M.Ed from Brock, has a Certificate in Conflict Management from Conrad Grebel, University of Waterloo and is also a Qualified Mediator.  She has 10 years experience working in camping, and over 10 years experience primary and secondary teacher.
