About Me
Jeremie Cander is a Writer-Director who grew up obsessing over character arcs in her favorite shows and writing short stories based on her awkward experiences. With a passion for storytelling, she is on a mission to tell dramedy stories that are rooted in introspection and help her understand the world a little better. In her spare time, Jeremie can be found producing stories for other filmmakers and taking writing classes at UCLA. She also is an advocate for independent filmmaking which has led her to work for notable film festivals like the: Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Tribeca Film Festival. Jeremie recently just wrapped her short film, RSVP, a story centered around complex friendships and brunch culture in the DC area.
