About Me


Cedric has won multiple honors and distinctions as a writer, director, and producer of film and theatre, including being on the shortlist for the 2016 Academy awards or short films. And the most recent winner of the American Pavilion at Cannes 2022, Best Short Film. In 2005, he founded To & Fro Productions, a film company dedicated to telling gripping stories with depth and sophistication. As executive producer, he wears many hats, from developing scripts, creating budgets, casting to writing, engineering production strategy, and directing. Throughout its 15 years, Cedric has led the company to build a substantial resume of award-winning feature films, shorts, and touring theatre.


Projects of note include, Noisy (producer,  director, &. writer), Homeland (line producer), Red White and Detroit (producer & director), I Do (writer), Outwordly Fabulous (producer, director), Passing (producer, director), Without Grace (Line Producer) The Service List (producer, writer, director) Dongmei (producers &director) Carrington's Rule (director).  He has completed  filming the feature film “Two Peas in a Pod” (Director/Producer)


Over the years, Cedric has worked with luminaries such as Maggie Reed, Marcia Gay Harden, and Sutton Foster. He has worked at major venues such as the Public Theatre, NJPAC, and the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theatre (West Side Y), among many others. He is currently teaching at as a visiting professor at Shenandoah University’s Conservatory and completing, Two documentaries, Ballad of a Black Mother and Service with pride.


He is currently working on three new film projects and one theater development.
