TOWARF is a Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary Unit that provides marine search and rescue (SAR) services with the primary goal of saving lives at risk in Western Lake Ontario. With approximately fifty highly-trained search and rescue volunteer crew members TOWARF patrols the Oakville shoreline out to a distance of ten miles.
