I'm a seasoned producer based in Richmond, VA, but have lived and worked in NYC & LA.  I have produced both short and long formats, including 8 years at The Martin Agency.  I love teaching as an adjunct professor in VCU's Cinema Dept, and providing services for out-of-towners to shoot here in Richmond and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

With all the challenges through the years, I finally claimed victory by finishing my film, producing my colleagues films, and finally moved into an industry that WOMEN can push out their creativity...I am Blessed!  Produced six films - The Labyrinth, Beatz Battles, Gloves Hurt, Magnolias, Papers, and the Final Tour. Currently, I am rewriting Beatz Battles short and feature; and preparing it for Marketing purposes, just like for other films that I produced. Also, I just initiated my production company... I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Maryland, and I have 20 years of experience working in TV news. 

My name is Nick Zemura and I am a Zimbabwean-American living in the Washington DC area. I am a Film and Television Producer, currently studying for a Masters's Degree in Producing for Film and TV at American University. I do a lot of my work in Africa and in the Washington DC area with the African diaspora.
