In 2014, I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film/Video Studies from George Mason University, supplemented by additional film courses at Arlington Independent Media. Jed Winer is a videographer, editor, and animator based in Washington, DC. He creates short educational videos for NOAA Ocean Today and enjoys figuring out how to convey NOAA’s important mission-driven work in an engaging and easy to understand visual way. He is currently working on a 6-part short animated series to teach kids about the connection between Earth's ocean, weather, and climate.
