Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chemung County (CCE-Chemung) is a private, non-profit organization, affiliated with the state university of New York at Cornell University. CCE-Chemung is part of a network of extension associations, programs and services located across the state and nation. A primary focus of all cooperative extension work is the application of research-based information to community-based issues. Local, state and federal dollars cooperatively fund CCE-Chemung. Additional funding for our work comes through grants, contracts, fees, foundations and private contributions.

History: Founded in 1855, Elmira College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college. Location: Elmira, a city of 35,000, is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. To make our programs as convenient as possible, we offer courses in the evenings, weekends, and blended on-line and on-campus classes.
