Philip Kashap has been Director of the Huntsville (Ontario) Suzuki School of Music since 2012. Before this; he and his family lived in Saskatoon for 26 years. In Saskatoon Philip taught at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatoon Suzuki Program; which he also directed for five years. Philip grew up near Boston and San Francisco; and attended Yale University where he received his BA and MM. A Hamilton based violin and viola performer and pedagogue, Caitlin Boyle is a member of the Isabel String Quartet, the Niagara Symphony Orchestra, teaches at the Hamilton Suzuki School of Music, and is co-artistic director of Five at the First Chamber Music Series. A JUNO-nominated performing artist, Ms. Boyle concertized extensively for thirteen years from 2006-2018 with the Cecilia String Quartet. Liz Biswas has been teaching violin and viola since 2002. Her teacher trainers have included Allen Lieb; Elayne Ras; Carrie Beth Hockett; Ed Sprunger; Sharon Jones and Dorothy Jones. Liz currently serves on the executive for the Suzuki Association of Ontario Board of Directors as Secretary. Liz completed her B.A. from the University of Waterloo in 2009.
