The Acadia Community Garden and Art Society was created to provide residents with a place to practice their gardening in Calgary's neighborhood of Acadia. We offer affordable garden space rental, community events, arts festivals, picnics, and a connection to like minded individuals in the greater Calgary area. The gardeners are active with a season opening and closing gathering as well as fundraising events throughout the season. Each paying member helps care for the Garden with specific tasks or general care. Updated July 2020.

The AUArts Community Garden is a student-run and supported garden organization for the school. Currently in its fifth year of operation, this Community Garden strives to enrich the shared space with the wonders of nature and build bridges between students and peers alike. Updated July 2020.

The Banff Trail Community Garden was established in 2010 and has been a great place for community members to grow fresh vegetables, get to know community members of all ages, and contribute to creating a beautiful space to be enjoyed by all. The Beddington Heights Community Garden is a new project that was started with sponsorship from Connelly Management, Plantation Garden Centre, and West Coast Seeds. More details on this community garden will follow shortly. Updated June 2022

The objectives of the Gathering Garden are to facilitate, establish, and maintain beautiful, productive and pesticide-free community gardening projects that welcome gardeners and visitors. The plots are 4' x 8' in size and lease for $40.00 per year. Updated July 2020.

The garden provides fresh produce and plants and the opportunity for satisfying labour, and serves to create a sense of neighborhood improvement, a sense of community, and a connection to the environment.One of the plots is designated a "Charity Plot" where community garden members grow fresh produce for the Calgary Food Bank and the Spinz-A-Round Program.There are twenty 10'x10' plots which lease for the season on a first-come, first-serve basis. The rooftop garden, located on the top of the BRCA Community Hall, began in the spring of 2014.  The garden includes a communal garden and 15 ( /-) individual plots that can be rented for a season. Our community garden is about bringing the community together, getting to know your neighbours and providing a beautiful space in our community for everyone to enjoy. The Capitol Hill Community Edible Garden is a grass roots, community initiative with a goal of connecting people in the neighbourhood by growing food, flowers, and herbs together on the grounds of the Capitol Hill Community Centre. Built in June of 2014, the garden consists of 27 raised garden beds that are available for residents of Capitol Hill to rent out for the growing season. There are also communal beds where all gardeners are responsible to maintain. Updated July 2020.

In 2014, the Cliff Bungalow-Mission Community Association completed the new Cliff Bungalow Community Garden. The garden is home to 30 plots for community members, as well as a number of shared herb beds and donation beds. The build took place in May and included over 50 volunteers. Updated July 2020.
