About Me


Andrew Pape-Salmon has 21 years of experience in energy efficiency and clean energy strategies for buildings, equipment and communities. He is a Commissioner with the BC Utilities Commission and is an Adjunct Professor with UVic Civil Engineering. He specializes in energy economics, sustainable energy and building codes and standards; along with policy analysis for energy efficiency and climate leadership at all levels of government. He works extensively on projects pertaining to energy efficiency and carbon management for new construction and existing buildings. Andrew is a Professional Engineer with Master Degree in Resource and Environmental Management from Simon Fraser.
