Renée Eastman

About Me


Renee is a writer and producer.  She and her husband, Greg Berger, are partners in BergerFilms.  Two of her short film projects are on the film festival circuit in 2021-2022 with one winning two festival awards (Audience Choice, Best Sound Editing).  Renee is working on a screenplay and a treatment for a television serial.  She has written scripts and created content for corporate videos as well as collaborated on projects for BergerVideo.


Renee is a government relations executive with over 30 years of experience in advocacy, communications, and political strategy. Her areas of expertise include energy, environmental, and water policy as well as coalition building and event management.  Renee began her career on Capitol Hill.  She serves in numerous leadership roles including as President and co-founder of the Women’s Energy Resource Council which provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and perspectives among women energy professionals in the government and private sector.  


Some fun facts about Renee:  She was born and raised in Alabama, played drums in an all-female rock cover band, and was an extra in “Broadcast News.”
