After 23 years as a non-profit executive specializing in advocacy communications and public relations, I am now shifting my focus and time to filmmaking. I hold a Master's from AU in Media and Film and have produced several short films while at AU including one that was broadcast on Maryland Public Television and recognized with a regional Emmy. Most recently, I have helped program and deliver the Alexandria Film Festival as its vice chair in collaboration with founder Patti North and the festival's chair.

Michael Camoin established Videos For Change Productions in 1995. He is co-founder of the Albany-AIVF salon Upstate Independent Filmmakers Network and today, the Founding Director of the Northeast Filmmakers Lab entering its 8th edition.
