About Me


Ms. Toscano Roccamo served as a judge on the Superior Court of Justice for Ontario between 2003 and 2019, where she adjudicated many complex matters, following a successful career as a respected litigator. In June 2018, she was a co-teacher at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law of a course she designed on Jury Selection and Charter Values, during which time she authored a report to the Judicial Council on Jury Selection in Ontario.


She served as President of the County of Carleton Law Association from 1994-2000 as well as on the Education Planning Committee for the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario from 2009-2013.


In addition to her professional achievements, she has authored numerous publications including:

  • Medicine in the Litigation Process, 1999
  • Personal Injury Claims, 1997

She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. In addition, she attended the Harvard University Mediation Program and continues to strive for effective strategies in the resolution of all manner of disputes.


Her ability to successfully resolve complex matters, well known within the legal community, in addition to her ability to focus on solution-based strategies, has led to the successful resolution of many cases.


Ms. Toscano Roccamo possesses strong communication skills and is fluent in English and Italian.
