About Me

 I have practiced commercial  litigation for 37 years since my call to the bar in 1986, firstly with Blakes in Toronto then Ottawa and for the past 20 years with Norton Rose in Ottawa. Contract disputes  have been the core of my practice for most of this time, although a lot of legal territory has been covered. 

·        I  have certificates from the University of Windsor Law in ADR and advanced ADR workshops and hold an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management.   In terms of peer recognition, I  have been recognized in  BestLawyers in Canada: Corporate and commercial litigation, 2019-2023 and Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, 2014-2022:recommended in Insolvency & Financial Restructuring - Insolvency Litigation; 2022: recommended in Litigation - Corporate Commercial. I am fully bilingual in English and French with native proficiency. I am a member of both the Ontario and Nunavut bars.

       I am now an independent mediator and arbitrator and am available for both virtual and in-person hearings across Ontario.
