Jessica Nicole Tomasone

 

Receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ryerson University (Toronto), Jessica is proud to have been teaching dance & performance to ages 3+  for the past 15 years. She has been in a variety of music videos, commericals, and short films working with artists such as Hilary Duff and Feist.

 

Ms. Tomasone also has a background in social work receiving her Social Service Worker diploma from Seneca College (King City). During her practicum at Seneca, she gained experience as an educational assistant at Alexander Mackenzie High School, shadowing her supervisor, a Child Youth Worker, and gained over 500 hours as Case Manager for The Neighbourhood Group (TNG) in their Conflict Resolution department during her second-year practicum.

 

Currently, Jessica is tutoring refugee and immigrant children in ESL, has received the Diane Hamilton’s Volunteer Excellence Award as a supporter on the crisis line for Women’s Support Network (York Region), and runs her own business, My Dance Fitness, teaching many styles of dance in the GTA while specializing with wedding couples. Having experience working with students on the spectrum and special needs, Jessica offers a collaborative, strengths-based approach as a learning style and breathes creativity and life into all her lessons and coaching.

 

Most recently, Jessica has joined the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario (ADRIO). As a new member, she is looking forward in enhancing her knowledge and experience as an interpersonal mediator and conflict coach in the field of ADR.

 

Fun fact – Jessica has over 10 years of experience working for Princess Parties Plus, hosting themed birthday parties for children and special events!
