Dr. Weiming Shen, NRC Principal Research Officer, IEEE & EIC Fellow, is an internationally renowned leader in collaborative intelligent systems. He has been a major source of leadership, influence and impact through key new ideas, concepts and techniques in collaborative engineering design, intelligent manufacturing, and intelligent building. His recent significant impacts are demonstrated through the development and implementation of intelligent building technologies at 30+ federal government buildings. He has received many prestigious awards at the national and international levels. He has served as Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor of over 10 international journals and as Chair/Co-Chair of 20+ international conferences.
