About Me
Etienne Mansard, Executive Director, Canadian Hydraulics Centre (NRC), is an internationally recognized expert on the modelling of wave dynamics. His career at NRC started in 1976 as a researcher, mainly in the field of wave dynamics; his research work led to entirely new methods of the simulation of waves in a laboratory environment. His recent election to the presidency of the International Association of Hydraulic Engineering and Research (IAHR), testifies to his outstanding reputation as a researcher, engineer and manager.
