After a 25 year career in international development, policy and advocacy, I am now returning to film studies from September 2021 for a full academic year.  My aim is to work on creative film and TV projects that speak to the issues, challenges of our time towards commonly owned solutions.

I've been a WIFV member since 2018 which has majorly helped me in moving forward towards my career that I now have as a doctoral candidate at George Mason University where I specialize in using cinema as a cultural studies tool. I am constantly trying to find avenues of exhibition for under-seen films and am currently in the process of creating a national and accessible archive of Puerto Rican cinema.
