My passion and fulfillment with filmmaking has always come from using the medium to express ideas and perspectives that have the potential to bring positive collective change in society.
I have 5 years of experience in creative storytelling and filmmaking. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Fine Arts, majoring in Film Production at San Diego State University. During my coursework I have directed 3 short films including my most recent short documentary film ‘Unbreakable’ which premiered at the Coronado Film Festival (2023) and won an Audience Award for Best Local Student Documentary.
I am currently working on my thesis project. A short documentary film about Myanmar.
My purpose with this documentary film is to provide a mirror for the people of Myanmar, to see that we are the heroes of our story. My aim is to empower individuals with the belief that their actions do make a difference. This envisioned documentary is a call for hope and action, aiming to shed light on Myanmar's plight while inspiring its people and viewers worldwide to strive for a future marked by democracy and peace.
