About Me

Teresa has over eight years of experience working in the camera department across Australia, Vietnam and USA. Her passion lies in telling stories about humans' connection with wildlife and the environment.

Teresa's latest job was filming as Top-side DP for the National Geographic Pristine Seas expedition in the Federated States of Micronesia. Prior to that she was Top-side DP on an anti-whaling show for Captain Paul Watson's new foundation across Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Around the same time Teresa got accepted into the ASC Vision Mentorship Program 2023-2024 receiving mentorship from Rodney Taylor, ASC. In 2022 Teresa also received mentorship from Paul Atkins, ASC, and Stephen Lighthill, ASC, as she was selected to participate in the  Jackson Wild Cinematography Lab that took place in Austria in the last week of September. Here, Teresa received an Honorable Mention at the Jackson Wild Media Awards for her short documentary The Awakening of the Vietnamese Elephant.

During the pandemic, Teresa was in Vietnam and made the decision to stay as borders closed. Here she had the opportunity to collaborate with the local production company RICE Content and Media, DP-ing several documentary projects such as the VICE NEWS's documentary web series Inside the Global Underground Wildlife Trafficking Market, covering the segment in Vietnam.

Teresa studied film in Australia specializing in Documentary Filmmaking at Sydney Film School (2014-2016). It was here that she made her fist mini documentary series, Through Their Eyes, which got picked up by the DocPlay online streaming Platform (Madmen Entertainment). She then received development fundings from ABC Australia for her 52 min documentary Mother Crocodile that has recently been purchased by First HDTV, one of the largest television companies in Russia.
