President, Medical Research Council of Canada

Hank Henderson served as the seventh President of the Medical Research Council of Canada. He has written over 600 articles relating to human disease and reproductive health, with an emphasis on causes of infertility. An internationally respected researcher, he has made key contributions to our understanding of embryonic development, blood cells development and cancer. He has also played a large role in the development of Canadian science policy, and was recently named a Canada Research Chair.
