Independence Elks Lodge #1950 sits on Main Street in the heart of downtown Independence. Having opened its doors in March 1955, the Elks Lodge has become a staple of the Independence, Monmouth, and Dallas communities. The lodge consists of two floors comprising of approximately 21,000 square feet. The Lodge currently sits on the sites of a previous grocery store and an old J.C. Penny's.
