Barry Posner is internationally recognized for his work in cell signaling and diabetes. His current research focuses on the genes responsible for diabetes, the discovery of which will aid in the prediction and treatment of this disease. Following post-graduate work at MIT and the NIH, he joined the Royal Victoria Hospital and McGill University in 1970.
