Jed Winer is a videographer, editor, and animator based in Washington, DC. He creates short educational videos for NOAA Ocean Today and enjoys figuring out how to convey NOAA’s important mission-driven work in an engaging and easy to understand visual way. He is currently working on a 6-part short animated series to teach kids about the connection between Earth's ocean, weather, and climate. Prior to joining NOAA, Jed worked at National Geographic, where he produced/edited documentary, news, and explainer videos.
