Ellen Berry has taught piano for over 45 years; and has built a busy private Suzuki studio in Cambridge; Ontario. She has served on the boards of the Suzuki Association of the Americas; the Suzuki Association of Ontario; and the Ontario Registered Music Teachers? Association; and was the Director of the Southwestern Ontario Suzuki Institute (SOSI) in Waterloo; Ontario for many years. She enjoys learning to play the violin; and has two grown Suzuki children.


Clayton Scott was born in Toronto; Canada; and is a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto. Ms. Scott has taught piano since 1969; using the Suzuki philosophy of training since 1983. In 1992 she joined the Faculty of Suzuki Kingston and Summer Music Fest. It was for this Institute that she developed the highly-acclaimed lecture series; Music Through the Ages; a course in music history for the young music student. Founded in 1982; Etobicoke Suzuki Music is recognized as one of the oldest and finest Suzuki programs in Canada. We offer instruction in violin; viola; cello; and early childhood education following the philosophy of Talent Education developed by Shinichi Suzuki.
