Born in Paris, France, Fabienne Lips-Dumas is an internationally awarded independent producer, director, writer. Before settling in Washington DC in 2011, she has worked extensively for the Canadian broadcasters, the National Film Board of Canada and in France, the group Canal . She is currently in post-production with a film shot last October in the Haitian slum, Cité Soleil. Her film: Children of Armageddon, on nuclear testing and arsenals received many US awards.

I am a theater practitioner and new-ish film maker. I also serve as a creative consultant and am accustomed to wearing many hats in the creative process. 

I'm a part time film producer-director with a background in film acting, casting, teaching and all things theatre. I completed post production on my first short film, Concrete Dreams and Other Things, this spring, and it has been submitted to film festivals across the country.
