Sylvain Chemtob is a neonatologist and pharmacologist, and professor of Pediatrics, with joint appointments in Pharmacology and Ophthalmology at Université de Montréal. His research is focused on reactive oxygen species and lipid mediators in ischemic neuropathies (eg. retinopathy of prematurity, stroke) with emphasis on the developing subject.
