The Inglewood Community Garden has been active in the historic community of Inglewood since 2003. We believe that it is the largest (contiguous) community garden in Calgary and it also hosts a Communal Garden, which is (we believe) the largest in-ground solely volunteer managed vegetable garden in the city dedicated to providing produce to local service organizations and garden volunteers. Legacy's Community Garden was built to enhance the community and provide enjoyment for every resident.  Donated by WestCreek Developments, this space has been developed with the goal of increasing biodiversity, beautification and community involvement. Gardeners must possess a Residents Association membership (this is open to members of the community of Legacy only) and be up-to-date on fee payments. This garden is located in the southwest corner of Lynnwood Park, near the interestion of 69 Ave SE and 18 St SE.  The vision for this garden is to be inclusive and welcoming.  A community space where people of all skill levels can interact through gardening; a space where people can connect with nature and undersatnd where their food comes from; a place of sharing and learning. The goals of the Community Garden focuses on a natural and healthy sustainable environment in which a social community of all age gardeners can work and learn together, creating a quality garden operation and with yearly produce which can be donated to the food bank. Updated March 2023.

Join other community gardeners to grow your own organic vegetables and herbs!  We have one of the best community gardens in the city with 50 raised beds having great soil, irrigation and and lots of sunshine. Don't know much about gardening, but would like to learn? Great! Our friendly, experienced gardeners would be happy to help! In addition to the annual rental fee you must have a Willowridge Community Membership. A gardener is also required to do 3 volunteer tasks per plot to operate and maintain the overall garden area.  Updated April 2023
