About Me

Graduated from Medicine at Queen's and pursued training pediatrics and endocrinology in Montreal, Ottawa and Winnipeg. She was an academic clinician and held numerous leadership positions at the University of Manitoba as well as external agencies such as the Diabetes Canada and the RCPSC. Major research interests were type 2 diabetes in children, transition of adolescents with diabetes to adult care and Interprofessional Education. She retired in June 2015 as Professor Emeritus.
