Dr. David Colcleugh, Professor at the University of Toronto, has exemplified leadership and dedication in business and society. As the former Chairman, President and CEO of DuPont Canada, and as a director and chairman on other corporate boards, Dr. Colcleugh has advocated for greater corporate responsibility and has fostered sustainable growth. In particular, Dr. Colcleugh was instrumental in developing Responsible Care, the chemical industry's global voluntary initiative under which companies, through their national associations, work to continuously improve their health, safety and environmental performance in the manufacturing of safe and affordable foods that bring real benefits to society.
