Alive After Five Summer Street Music Festival is how Elmira kick-starts the summer weekend Friday in style! As the largest monthly happy hour and free entertainment celebration, Alive After Five provides a destination for friends and co-workers to gather, unwind, and network while enjoying great live music, tasty beverages and a fun, casual atmosphere.
Friday nights in downtown Elmira, will once again become the place to be with music, eats, art, dancing, children's activities and great times! The event starts at 5pm and lasts until 9pm and is Free to attend.
ELMIRA STREET PAINTING FESTIVAL
The Elmira Street Painting Festival is an art-filled, family fun weekend celebrating creativity! Stroll through our historic downtown while art takes place on the ground- and all around. Marvel at the dozens of masterpieces evolving right before your eyes as artists take to the streets with chalk in hand. Browse the fine regional crafts and artwork of numerous vendors. Sample the varied tastes of our local restaurants, step into a pop-up gallery, move to the rhythm of live music, experience all that the festival has to offer. Come for the day- or make it a weekend! Festival is hosted in July.
