Professional Biography

A vibrant, progressive Old Catholic priest with thirty years of prehospital emergency medical service, and ministry experience, with a strong creative spirit and vision, devoted to changing the culture of EMS and emergency services as a whole..

Well over 20 years of ministry, and public safety allows me to help further define the contours of religion, and the human spirit in the emergency service arena as well as the world outside our doors.

Years in private and municipal EMS and small business ownership has taught me incredible patience, remarkable customer service skills, as well as exposed, and wizened me in the areas of public relations, employee recruitment/retention, and day to day supervision, as well as social media and general marketing.

My time in ministry has made me a gifted communicator, and an able catalyst for enriching the human presence wherever I am placed. I invite exploration of the ways religious celebrations, and different spiritual paths may serve to advance human well being, and care for the planet.

My pastoral sensitivity, theological depth, intellectual power, personal strength, calming demeanor, and demonstrated leadership offers a refreshing and calming presence at any kind of casual gathering to even the most horrific disaster.

I have a specific ministerial concentration currently with the research and creation of concepts/techniques to curb the remarkable amount of traumatic stress experienced by first responders, with special focus on EMS providers and am always looking for opportunities to help improve public safety's mental health resilience.

I also have a very special place in my heart for bringing EMS education to life, making it more enjoyable, realistic, and practical, while helping providers remain patient focused.
