Claude Perreault is Professor of Medicine at the University of Montreal and a Principal Investigator at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer. He is also a Canada Research Chair in Immunobiology. He is a leader in research and implementation of new cancer treatments with a specific focus in the fields of bone marrow transplantation and cancer immunotherapy. His work has led to major advances in our understanding of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), in the treatment of leukemia and in the development of a cancer vaccine.
