Founded in 2008 by Rhoda Lipton, SensationalElora began as a non-profit 2 week-long  fall Festivalof the Senses.   Still a not-for-profit with all proceeds going to address food insecurity, Sensational Elora has raised $170K since inception for the Centre Wellington Food Bank and the lunch program at CWDHS.  Over the years it has evolvedto a year-long series of events including Monster Month, Pumpkin Day, The EmptyBowls Project, The Soup Off, Fergus Pub Night, Film on a Plate and SensationalSounds.  Monster Month brings the SensationalElora Monster March and our Twilight Zoo of monsters for a major local and visitorattraction.  The events also provide theopportunity for residents and visitors to experience and enjoy the charm andnatural beauty of Elora and the surrounding area.
