About Us


The West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation works with the community to help raise funds for equipment, upgrading of facilities, and special projects for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Incorporated in 1981, the role of the Foundation is to provide our community with an opportunity to continually improve patient care at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital through a wide range of giving opportunities.

Second only to the provincial government, the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation is the largest funder of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

It is through the support of our community, the Foundation continues to play a crucial role in the advancement of healthcare at West Lincoln Memorial. The Foundation is currently supporting the revitalization of programs within the following core areas - B Ward, C Ward, Education, Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, Laboratory, Obstetrics, Operating Room, Pharmacy and Radiology.

The Donor Bill of Rights was created by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Giving Institute: Leading Consultants to Non-Profits. The Donor Bill of Rights is endorsed by numerous not for profit organizations, including the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. The Foundation is a participant in Imagine Canada's Ethical Code Program, for donors this set of standards is assurance of our integrity and accountability.
