OUR STORY
The Nicholls name has been in the Canadian construction market for over 40 years. Since our establishment, we have experienced steady growth with a solid base of repeat customers.
In 1975, Bill Nicholls and Dave Radtke founded the construction group of Nicholls-Radtke. Throughout his time at Nicholls-Radtke, Bill Nicholls developed strong relationships, insightful experiences, and a knowledge of construction that formed an integral part of who he was. Bill was a driven individual who was instrumental to all the successful undertakings the group achieved.
With change in the wind for Nicholls-Radtke, Bill made the difficult decision to move in a bright new direction where he could bring his skill set to bear in new markets and challenges. Following a brief hiatus from the industry, Bill made the historical decision to found W.S. Nicholls Construction Inc. in 1996.
Since the inception of W.S. Nicholls, we have been a strong presence in the Ontario industrial construction market, providing elite services to a number of repeat partners. From those successes, W.S. Nicholls increased its national footprint. In 2000, W.S. Nicholls expanded operations into Western Canada with W.S. Nicholls Western Construction Ltd., located in Delta, British Columbia.
Continued growth and success led to the 2010 acquisition of W.S. Nicholls by the Link-Line Group of Companies. When Link-Line was later acquired by Centuri Group, Inc. in 2014, W.S. Nicholls also became a Centuri company.
In 2020, the W.S. Nicholls brand evolved to WSN Construction. Our new look represents the advancements within the organization, while paying tribute to the best parts of our heritage. Our history, combined with our forward-looking spirit, continues to be the backbone of our successes and the differentiating factor between us and our competitors.

INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION

We have the capabilities to provide all required construction disciplines, from piping, equipment installations, civil, earthworks, structural steel, electrical, and more.
WSN Construction is signatory to several Trade Unions, such as: Plumbers and Pipefitters, Boilermakers, Millwrights, Electricians, Ironworkers, Carpenters, Cement Masons and Labourers unions. With these alliances we ensure manpower availability and are capable of providing qualified, trained and skilled trades people for all required construction disciplines.
TURNKEY PROJECTS
We are well-suited to provide turnkey style projects, and complete design/build projects in partnership with owners, engineering companies, and equipment suppliers.

SHOP FABRICATION
Extensive shop fabrication facilities can accommodate project needs for piping, structural steel, and skid fabrication, complete with a formal Quality Control Program.
SELF-PERFORMED SERVICES
One of our distinct advantages lies in our ability to self-perform various building trade scope-of-work disciplines. We employ a variety of in-house, Red Seal-certified, unionized tradespeople on all of our projects.
UNIQUE PROJECTS
WSN has extensive experience providing partnership and support for unique undertakings and specialty projects.
A unique aspect of our Operations is our vast experience gained through the construction and refurbishment of numerous Airport Fueling Systems and Tank Farm Storage facilities. The company is recognized as one of only a handful of companies in Canada with sufficient experience, bonding and insurance capabilities to undertake such fueling related work in an Airport environment.
