Hi! Thank you for processing my application for membership. A bit about me...I'm the author of a memoir called
The Pleasure Plan, publised by HCI Books and sold by Simon & Schuster. My pilot, based on this book, was a semifinalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards. I'm currently revising this pilot, while working on another TV pilot. I'm also working on a new book, about pleasure and tea, that I also envision as a media project. Adjunct to my writing, I'm a journalist, playwright, educator, and professional speaker. My topic is non-harmful ways to cultivate and navigate pleasure/dopamine.
Though I've been a professional writer for many years, I am new to television and film. I would love to be matched with a mentor. I see that potential mentors can submit a Google form indicating their interest by Nov 30. Can you tell me the process to indicate my interest in being a mentee?
