I am a multi-Emmy nominated and Emmy winning Producer/Director, currently looking to expand my experience and network.
Since starting Fuel in Richmond, VA in 2003, I have produced and edited many corporate, non-profit and commercial projects for corporations and agencies. In recent years, I created and produced a 13-epsiode Emmy winning art show The Art Scene on VPM/PBS. I've also produced and/or directed three documentaries for public television -- Blackbird: Legacy of Innovation which aired across the country via American Public Television, Aged Out: Finding Home, which aired on Virginia public television in January 2020 and Mending Walls: The Documentary, currently airing on PBS stations nationwide. I'm also the producer of Mending Walls: The Podcast, a podcast dedicated to the Mending Walls RVA public art project from 2020 of which the documentary was based.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Penn State University and a Master of Science degree in Strategic Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University. I'm a past-president of Penn State's Bellisario College of Communications Alumni Society Board and an adjunct professor at the Robertson School of Media and Culture at VCU.
